Direct
& make.

A boutique creative studio with a hands-on creative director at its center — small enough to be fast and direct, structured to scale when the project requires it.

Creative Director + Illustrator + Designer

Vitor Carneiro — OHNE HALS, black and white portrait

Vitor Carneiro — OHNE HALS

Turning ideas into distinctive visual worlds — and staying close enough to the work to draw them.

Vitor has worked professionally as an illustrator since 2014. His practice grew from illustration into design, art direction and creative direction — without leaving the drawing behind. Today the studio combines creative direction, illustration, character development, visual storytelling, merchandise, animation and AI-powered production pipelines.

His career spans in-house creative roles at LOUD, FLUXO, SNACKCLUB / BUILD and H3AT Studios — the most recent chapter, through which he still serves clients — alongside project-based work for organizations including Riot Games, Ubisoft, Universal Music, Supercell, LG, Mobile Legends, MIBR, SK Gaming, Team Vitality, TSM and paiN Gaming.

Small enough to be fast and direct. Structured to scale into a custom team — illustration, design, animation, motion, 3D or video — when the project needs it. A background in Psychology adds one more layer: how audiences behave, how communities form, and how brands are perceived.

02.1The artist

Brazilian Color Bomb.

How he signs it on Instagram

Outside the briefs, Vitor keeps an authored practice, and his characters arrive with lore. Yasha, raised by malevolent spirits and feared as the ruthless general of the north. Calista, the first princess to turn against the tyrants of her planet. Akari, who carries a bow cursed by the touch of an Oni. The Trail Blazers, burning the landscape with a gift from Helena, in a story written with @exyllius.

His long-running series is OVERHEAT: heat, flare, saturated gradients and a style he keeps stripping down to the essentials. Each authored piece is logged like an edition, with date, OH number and resolution, and his pieces have found collectors on Foundation and, in 2026, on Collectr with the edition Transmutation.

It’s the same hand that draws the client work. That’s why the direction here never stays abstract: the person setting the visual language can also draw it.

On AI

AI-powered, human-directed. When it fits the project and the client, AI speeds up exploration, previz and production pipelines. Concept, taste, direction and final craft stay human. How we use it →

On scale

Projects can start with the art director alone and grow into a custom team — illustration, design, animation, motion, 3D or video — under one direction.

On culture

Gaming, esports, anime, streetwear and internet culture aren’t references we study. They’re where we come from.

AI-powered. Human-directed.

Used when it serves the project, and the client

How we use it

We’re an AI-powered studio. When it makes sense for the project and for the client, we use AI to accelerate workflows and automate pipelines: more directions explored, faster previz, cleaner delivery. Direction, taste and final craft stay human.

  1. 01Brief & strategyHuman
  2. 02Exploration & referencesAI-accelerated
  3. 03Direction & selectionHuman
  4. 04Previz, mockups & animaticsAI-accelerated
  5. 05Final art & animationHuman craft
  6. 06Versioning & deliveryAutomated pipeline
01

Faster exploration

More routes on the table in round one: moodboards, references and rough directions in hours, not days.

02

Previz & animatics

Camera, pacing and motion tested before a single final frame is drawn or animated.

03

Brand & product mockups

Key art on a billboard, a box or a hoodie: see the application before anything goes to production.

04

Automated pipelines

Exports, crops, naming, format variants and delivery packages handled by scripts, not by hand.

05

Versioning at scale

One master adapted to every placement (stream, social, store, OOH) without losing consistency.

06

Research & briefing

Faster audience, competitor and reference research, so the first meeting is about choices.

Rules we keep

AI is a tool.
Not the author.

  • Opt-in, per project. We use AI only where it helps the work and you’re comfortable with it.
  • Your policy wins. Some IPs, platforms and contracts don’t allow generative AI. We follow yours.
  • Confidential stays confidential. No unreleased material goes into a tool without your approval.
  • Transparent by default. You know where AI was used in the process, and where it wasn’t.
  • Human craft on the final. Key art, characters and animation are directed and finished by people.

03.5Process

No surprises, by design.

  1. 01Brief

Objective, audience, channels, deliverables, timeline and budget — on a call or in writing. You get a scoped proposal.

  2. 02Direction

References, moodboards, concepts and styleframes. Production only starts once you approve the direction.

  3. 03Production

Assets are produced by the art director — or by a hand-picked team under the same direction.

  4. 04Review

One or two structured revision rounds. Changes to an approved direction are re-scoped, never hidden.

  5. 05Delivery

Master files and every agreed adaptation. Usage licensed per channel — organic, paid, merch or full buyout.

03.6FAQ

The questions serious buyers ask first.

Do you sign NDAs and work white-label?

Yes. NDAs are standard on request, and agency work is white-label by default — your brand on the deliverables, no contact with your client unless you want it.

Where are you based, and how do time zones work?

Brazil (BRT, UTC−3). That’s the same working day as US East Coast teams and a shared afternoon with Europe. Calls are scheduled in your time zone.

What does a project cost?

Most projects start from US$2.5k (Studio Sprint). Campaigns typically start from US$4k, full productions from US$7k and retainers from US$3k/month. Every proposal is scoped to the brief.

Do you take smaller requests?

Focused asks — a single illustration, a mascot or a pack — are quoted case by case when there’s room in the calendar.

How do revisions work?

One or two structured rounds are included. Production starts after the direction is approved; changing an approved direction is treated as a scope change, agreed in writing.

Who owns the work, and what about usage?

Usage is licensed per channel — organic digital, paid media, merchandise, product or global campaigns. A full IP buyout is available for an additional fee.

How do payments work?

Smaller projects: 50% to start, 50% on delivery. Larger projects: 40% at kickoff, 30% after direction approval, 30% on delivery. International invoices in USD.

Do you use AI?

Yes, we’re an AI-powered studio, when it makes sense for the project and for you. AI accelerates exploration, previz, mockups and production pipelines; concept, direction, taste and final craft stay human. It’s opt-in per project, we follow your IP and platform policies, and we tell you upfront where AI is used.

Can you scale beyond one person?

Yes. Projects can start with the art director alone and scale into a custom team — illustration, design, animation, motion, 3D or video — under the same direction.

art department.

Key art, characters and 2D animation for your gaming, esports and entertainment clients — produced under your name, directed by a creative director who’s been on both sides of the brief.

04.1Why agencies call us

Senior craft on demand, without the overhead.

01

Plug-in craft

Key art, characters, styleframes and illustration-led animation — without adding headcount.

02

White-label by default

NDA on request, your brand on the deliverables, no contact with your client unless you want it.

03

Culture fluency

Gaming, esports, anime, streetwear and internet culture. No need to explain the references.

04

Scales with the job

One specialist or a hand-picked team — illustration, design, motion, 3D, editing — under one art director.

AI-powered studio

Tight launch? When the brief and your client’s AI policy allow it, AI-assisted exploration, previz and automated versioning cut turnaround, under the same art director and with human-finished masters.

04.5FAQ

For producers and creative directors.

Can we present the work as our own?

Yes — white-label is the default. We only show agency work publicly with your permission, and usually after launch.

How fast can you start?

Availability is confirmed in the first reply. For urgent launches, a Studio Sprint is the fastest format.

Do you deliver source files?

Yes — layered PSD / AI / AE files and every agreed adaptation, organized for your team to pick up.

How do you price agency work?

Fixed scope per project, reserved monthly capacity, or a retainer. Starting points are in the engagement models above; agency volume is quoted case by case.

What about time zones?

Brazil, BRT (UTC−3): the same working day as US East Coast teams and a shared afternoon with Europe.
